Add a dash of color to your weekend as Rapides Cancer Center holds its fifth Colors of Courage 5K and Color Run on Friday, March 31 at 6 p.m. to benefit the American Cancer Society.
The name Colors of Courage reflects the various forms of cancer and the color it represents in the fight.
The 3.1-mile run/walk begins and ends on the campus of Rapides Cancer Center and features eight color stations.
The entry fee is $30 and everyone who registers by March 20 is guaranteed a T-shirt. Online registration is available here.
Packet pickup is from noon until 5:45 p.m. on race day at Rapides Cancer Center. In the event of cancellation due to inclement weather, there will be no refunds. The race will take place in light rain.
