Referring Physicians
At the Rapides Wound Healing Center, we believe that efficiency is a key to healthcare. As a physician, the time you spend with each patient is not only valuable time for them, but for you as well. The faster a patient’s wound is healed, the more time, you, the physician, can spend focusing on the true underlying causes. That's why Rapides Regional Medical Center has partnered with National Healing Corporation to manage the Rapides Wound Healing Center to provide outpatient services.
Getting a patient into our facility quickly is the first step to expediting the diagnostic process. Physician's schedulers can call us directly to handle patient appointments or fax us your referral and let us handle the rest.
National Healing’s Wound Healing Clinical Pathway TM guides Rapides Wound Healing Center’s treatment protocols relying on evidence based medicine, experience, dedicated research and best practices. For our referring physicians, reports outlining your patients’ progress will be provided to you on a monthly basis and our panel physicians are also available for consultations.
Founded in 1996, National Healing Corporation manages over 150 Wound Centers nationwide and provides management services and the latest technology and expertise in wound healing to Rapides Wound Healing Center to establish quality wound healing programs.
