Alexandria, LA - Rapides Regional Medical Center has named Vernon O. Jones, II, as its new Chief Operating Officer.
Jones comes to RRMC from Medical City Forth Worth in Texas where he has served as Associate Chief Operating Officer since January 2018. He is familiar with Louisiana as he spent time in New Orleans at Tulane Medical Center as Director of Ambulatory Clinics and Manager of Urology/ENT and in Baton Rouge at Ochsner Health Center.
He earned a Master of Science in Health Care Management from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Texas Southern University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the National Association of Health Service Executives.
