Rapides Regional Medical Center swept the three major hospital awards in The Town Talk’s Best of the Best Official Community Choice Awards.
Readers of thetowntalk.com voted Rapides Regional Medical Center as having the Best Emergency Room and the Best Hospital, while Rapides Women’s and Children’s Hospital was voted Best Place to Have a Baby. Rapides Urgent Care was runner-up in Best Urgent Care.
“For nearly 120 years, Central Louisiana has trusted us to provide compassionate health care services for our patients and community,” said Jason Cobb, FACHE, Rapides Regional Medical Center’s president and chief executive officer. “Our goal remains to be the area’s best. The past 18 months have not been the easiest for us, nor our community, but we appreciate the vote of confidence. Our employees truly feel as if they are taking care of family.”
The awards recognize the most outstanding local businesses in Central Louisiana and are based on nominations and votes from the community.
