Rapides Regional Medical Center Sends ‘Seasons Greetings’

Rapides Regional Medical Center sends this year’s  “Seasons Greetings” with the help of the 2015 Holiday Art Contest winner.

The annual contest is open to students at Rapides Regional Medical Center’s Partners in Education school, Phoenix Magnet Elementary. Participants were asked to design a piece of artwork with a holiday theme.

Winners receive $100, $75 and $50 gift cards for first, second and third place, respectively.

Hettie Morris, 11, is the first-place winner. Hettie’s design featured Rudolph, Santa and an Elf … from the knees down.

Trinity Valley, 10, was the second-place winner. Her drawing featured a festive elf legs.

Alexis Orphey, 11, was the third-place winner. Alexis’ drawing featured a happy snowman bearing gifts.

Hettie’s artwork is featured on Rapides Regional Medical Center’s 2015 holiday greeting cards. Her artwork is also on display in multi-media digital and billboard formats on behalf of the hospital. Prizes were awarded during a recent holiday assembly.

Select artwork submitted by Phoenix students will be on display at Rapides Women’s and Children’s Hospital through December.
