Rapides Regional Medical Center welcomed Diane Fulton, RN, MS, as its new Senior Vice President of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer effective May 30.

Fulton comes to Alexandria from Muskogee, Okla., where she had served as the Chief Nursing Officer of the 329-bed Muskogee Regional Medical Center since 2007.She is responsible for the management of nursing care and provision of nursing services throughout the medical center.

Fulton graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in nursing. She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and the National Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau.
