Visiting Hours
Our visiting hours for adult patient rooms are 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Quiet Time throughout our campus is from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Please assist us in observing this important time for our patients.
Visitation in the Intensive Care Unit is restricted to 20-minute intervals beginning at 10 a.m., 4 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. Visitors are limited to four at a time. Children under the age of 14 are not allowed in the ICU. A family representative will be issued a passcode at admission. Special visitation may be arranged by contacting the nurses’ station through the intercom located in the ICU waiting room.
The doors of Rapides Regional Medical Center are locked at 9 p.m. and are opened at 6 a.m. Between these hours, all visitors must be issued a color-coded visitor’s pass by Security personnel. After-hours visitors may enter through the Emergency Department entrance or through the after-hours Labor and Delivery entrance at Rapides Women’s and Child
