Day Surgery

Surgery is hard. But Rapides Regional Medical Center makes the experience a little easier. All Day Surgery services are conveniently located on the first floor near Rapides Outpatient Center – with free valet parking at the Day Surgery entrance for patients and families. Each morning, admission clerks process patients as they arrive. A vending area and flat screen television are provided for waiting families.Patients and their families can also take comfort in the fact that every member of the Day Surgery nursing staff at Rapides Regional Medical Center is certified in Ambulatory Surgery or Critical Care. Our staff has, on average, 20 years experience in ambulatory or critical care.
