Become part of the Rapides Regional Medical Center family...
We all like to picture ourselves as making a contribution. For a hospital patient or visitor, a smile and a few words of encouragement can make all the difference.
Rapides Regional volunteers help make that difference every day. By offering their valuable time, our volunteers provide support, encouragement and a fresh perspective to patients, visitors and the hospital staff. And in return, volunteers become part of our family.
Rapides Regional Medical Center welcomes volunteers.
If you would like to learn more about this exciting opportunity, please call our Volunteer Office at 769-3090.
You may also request training as a volunteer for the American Cancer Society’s “Cancer Resource Center” at Rapides Cancer Center. Volunteers assist cancer patients, their families and caregivers with the latest in cancer-related information. Shifts are available Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to noon or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. For information, contact Michele Bryant at (318) 201-9276 or michele.bryant@cancer.org
Join the tradition of lending your time and talents to help others.
