Rapides Wound Healing celebrates with patients

Rapides Wound Healing Center will celebrate its one-year anniversary with a Patient Appreciation Party on Thursday, July 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

All current and former patients are invited to join us for light refreshments and a chance to catch up with wound center staff and physicians.

“We opened our doors last summer and have seen more than 200 patients since then,” said Kim Lyons, Rapides Wound Healing Center director. “Some of those patients suffered from a chronic wound, while others suffered from another medical condition treated with hyperbaric oxygen therapy.”

This event is one way Rapides Wound Healing Center can celebrate patient accomplishment and show them how much we appreciate them.

“Wound Center patients do not come for a one-time visit, but many weeks at a time,” Lyons said. “They become like family and this is our way to show our family how much we truly appreciate their business.”
