Rapides Healthcare System, L.L.C. welcomed Randy Rogers, MBA, MHA, FACHE, as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective November 5.

Rogers comes to Alexandria from Selma, Alabama, where he served as CFO of the 175-bed Vaughan Regional Health System since 2011.

Rogers, a native of Texas, and has spent the majority of his more than 10-year healthcare career in leadership roles at hospitals in Texas, Tennessee and Alabama. While at those hospitals, Rogers focused on service line growth, productivity and financial accountability.

Rogers graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and from the University of Texas at Arlington with Masters’ degrees in healthcare administration and business administration. Rogers is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Rogers will soon be joined by his fiancé, Selena Madison, and her two 10-year-old daughters, Klausen and Karlisle. Rogers’ children - Sarah Rogers, 17, Anna Rogers, 12 and Reed Rogers, 11 - will visit Central Louisiana frequently.
